I recently had the pleasure of dining at Big Catch Sushi Bar in Calgary, and I must say, it did not disappoint. As someone who loves sushi, I was excited to try out one of the top-rated sushi restaurants in the city.

Located at 8835 Macleod Trail, Big Catch Sushi offers an authentic sushi experience with a contemporary twist. The restaurant is open from Thursday to Sunday for dinner only from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. They also offer takeout orders and reservations can be made online.

One thing to note is that due to a shortage of Akazu red vinegar, the restaurant is currently using regular sushi rice until they are able to secure more of the red vinegar. Despite this, the sushi rice still tasted great and did not take away from the overall experience.

The menu at the Big Catch Sushi restaurantr offers a wide variety of options, including traditional sushi rolls, sashimi, and specialty rolls. One of their most popular dishes is the Passion Sunrise Roll, which is made with salmon, mango, avocado, and tobiko. The presentation of the dishes is also noteworthy, as each plate is beautifully crafted and presented.

Last year I had the pleasure of dining at Sushi Hiro, one of the best Japanese Restaurants in Calgary, and I must say it was an amazing experience. The restaurant is located in the center of Calgary, Alberta, and offers a fine dining experience with authentic and delicious Japanese food.

Sushi Hiro is a sushi restaurant that serves some of the best sushi in Calgary. The restaurant is owned and operated by Japanese chef Hiro-san, a master sushi chef who is renowned in Japan and has been serving sushi in Calgary for a long time. The restaurant has a warm and traditional-like Japanese ambiance, with a traditional modern Japanese restaurant decor that transports diners to Japan.

The menu at Sushi Hiro is extensive, with a variety of top sushi and some of the best Japanese food options to choose from. I highly recommend trying their Kawari Mushi, a steamed egg custard with shrimp, scallops, and mushrooms. The Yamakake, a dish made with grated mountain yam, raw egg yolk, and tuna sashimi, is also a must-try.

The service at the Sushi Hiro Restaurant is impeccable, with an attentive and knowledgeable staff who are happy to recommend dishes and answer any questions you may have. The prices are on the higher side, but the quality of the food and the dining experience make it worth it.

I have to say that Kinjo Sushi is one of my favourite sushi places in Calgary. With 7 locations throughout the city, it's easy to find one near me no matter where I am.

A while back, me and my wife went to dinner at Shijo Sushi, a Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Kensington in Calgary.  The restaurant offers a sophisticated approach to traditional Japanese fine dining and has quickly become a neighborhood gem.

In addition to serving the freshest sushi, Anzu also offers a range of other Japanese dishes, including tempura, udon, and teriyaki. I tried their Chicken Teriyaki, and it was cooked to perfection, with a sweet and savory flavor that was simply mouthwatering.
